byrd offers e-commerce businesses access to a virtual warehouse that connects their online shop seamlessly with multiple warehouses across borders. The fully integrated web application enables merchants to outsource their whole logistics - from storage to shipping - with only a few clicks. Moreover, they can manage and track their orders - regardless of the number of warehouses they ship from - in one single tool and access reports to optimize their logistics. At byrd, technology meets the logistics expertise of dozens of logistics providers on a global scale. As a consequence, retailers can offer shipping that meets and exceeds their customers’ expectations.

As a (Tech) Recruiter you will

  • Coordinate with management level and team leaders to forecast department goals and hiring needs
  • Write and post (technical) job descriptions and research new job boards
  • Manage our ATS and make sure that we are in line with GDPR guidelines
  • Source potential candidates, perform pre-screening calls as well as coordinate and conduct on-site interviews  
  • Manage the applicant pipeline and make sure that there is a constant flow of talent
  • Compose job offers in cooperation with hiring managers
  • Onboard new hires in cooperation with our HR Managers
  • Create and implement an employer branding strategy together with Marketing
  • Make sure that our recruiting KPIs are met and processes are optimized

We require


  • A proven work experience as a (Technical) Recruiter (2+ years)
  • Hands-on experience with various interview formats
  • Technical expertise with an ability to understand and explain job requirements for IT, Operations and Sales roles
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems and resume databases
  • Solid knowledge of sourcing techniques
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and German - French, Italian or Spanish is an asset
  • Solid understanding of HR practices and labor law (esp. for Germany)
